Working 80 hours a week as a founder is not a badge of honor. Over the last 3 years, I’ve built a team of 34 people while working 4 hours a day and traveling the world.? Here are 8 Operating Systems that made it all possible: If Da Vinci were an entrepreneur, systems would be his masterpiece. My company uses 38 systems in total, but these 8 are the glue holding everything together. Without them, it would have been physically impossible to build Founder OS. Let me break them down: 1. Ikigai Framework Your ikigai is where these four circles intersect: ? What can you be paid for ? What the world needs ? What you're great at ? What you love This clarity allowed me to build my dream company. 2. The Personal Board Meeting I revisit this list daily to keep myself accountable:? ? My ikigai & mission ? 10, 3 & 1 year visions ? 90-day goals (personal + business) ? What worked/didn't work & lessons learned 95% of decisions are subconscious. Intention shapes outcomes. 3. The 5-Year Reflection System Every quarter, I reflect on what I've learned over the past 5 years. Questions I ask: ? What would I tell my younger self? ? What problems have I solved? ? What stories changed me? I turn these reflections into organic content. 4. The CEO Scorecard Every Friday, my CFO sends me a text with: ? Cash in the bank ? Show & close rates ? Revenue & margins ? 3-5 action items for next week This gives me complete financial clarity in 60 seconds. 5. The Offer Stack Most founders think they have 1 offer — but you probably have 3-7: ? Bio offer (converts visitors to followers)? ? Newsletter offer ? Referral system ? Core product ? Lead magnet ? Workshop ? Upsell You need intentional copy, beautiful design & a system to seamlessly guide them through each step. 6. The Content GPS If you’re not already creating organic content, now is the time to start. Organic content converts your rented audience (social) to an owned audience (email). With strategic CTAs, you can turn all of this attention into sales. 7. The Content Waterfall 1 thread = 24 other pieces of content, including: ? Tweets ? TikToks ? IG reels ? YT shorts ? Newsletters ? LinkedIn posts ? YouTube video Avoid the ideation hamster wheel. Repurpose content. 8. The CTA System Your CTA is a net that captures attention. I have 16 strategic CTAs across my platforms: ? LinkedIn featured section ? Instagram bio + stories ? Newsletter signatures ? YouTube descriptions ? End of X threads This drives 20,000 email subs monthly with $0 ad spend. These 8 systems help me to: ? Work 4 hours daily ? Become financially free ? Run a team of 34 people ? Travel the world 6 months of the year __ Enjoy this? ?? Repost it to your network and follow Matt Gray for more. work smarter, not harder.
These systems are clutch, Matt. It’s all about working smart, not just hard.
Thanks for sharing, Matt
Such a powerful list Matt Gray, appreciate you sharing. It's the systems you build that help you to live life on your terms isn't it Systems help you by doing the things that need doing on autopilot. How much of your system is automated?
Most founders overcomplicate success when it really comes down to building simple, repeatable systems that free you from daily decision fatigue.
